Ryan thanks for your concern. I did not mean to imply that I took the Xanax 4 times a day every day. I only take it up to 4 times a day and that is only on the very worst days. I had been taking a normal dosage as prescribed and developed problems sleeping, etc. and knew the drug was the reason, so I tapered off of the drug until I was completely off and now I only take the reduced dosage and only when needed.

I take zoloft and I have Xanax, Xanax though only stays active in your body for 4 hours +/- hence why you can break down the dosage to 4 times a day. You are just fine. And usually "us" people with anxiety anyway are too scared to become addicted.

I haven't taken anything yet and due to anxiety I'm afraid too! Lol I just charge through it. Praise God though I have been feeling better!!

Jkfrench, do you feel the Beta Blockers help? I take Calcium Channel blockers, for hypertension anyway, and they do nothing for PVCs. At least, they do nothing for me. What about the side effects of Betas???

I just posted a new thread about this same topic. I was in bed and my heart beat went pound-pound-pound-pound. No pause in between like my normal palpitations. It scared the poo out of me. It felt like 4 PVCs in a row. I don't know what they call that but it was scary. I called my cardiologist and he said not to worry about it. Phew! This is crazy though because you wonder if it'll kill you etc. Well it's nice to know other people experience the same insanity.
