Biggrin 7 day KOH monitor report, finally

I am so happy, I just got back from my doctor appointment, the report was great, here is what it said for the 14 day period.

Rate: 62--115
PR: 0.13--0.17 sec
QRS: 0.07--0.11 sec
QT: 0.33--0.42 sec

This TTM study reveals sinus rhythm and sinus tachycardia. One PVC and 22 PAC's (sometimes in pairs) with one atrial run which was 3 beats as shown on strip where shown.

Fluttering and skipped beats, which were often correlated with PAC's were experienced throughout the study.

Wow, only 1 PVC and 22 PAC's for two weeks.

I noticed a lot of times, when I had pressed the button, it was just normal sinus rhythm.

I am glad that I insisted on another monitor, the first one that I complained about, did not pick up any of my button pushing, so, that monitor only picked up a couple of days, but the new one, picked up everything the next week.

Phew, I am so relieved. I am glad it is over, I was soooo nervous this morning. I think now, I will take a nice walk, it is 50 degrees here in Yakima.

Have a great day.

Hugs
Susie

I think sometimes, mine are gas, and it is the bubbles making me feel like I am having those skips. I know the tummy and gas can make a person feel lousy.

Oh, I talked to a pharmacist today about why the calcium gave me flutters, he said that is blocks the magnesium receptors, and if you really need magnesium, this will surely cause the flutters to act up. I stopped the calcium a few days back, and have not had any flutters since.

He said if a person wants to take both, take the calcium in the morning and the magnesium in the evening.

Interesting, huh?

Yes that is interesting. That Calcium seemed to have caused mine to act up. Good news regarding your holter. I hope he also told you that you could have many more than that every day and it still wouldn't be a problem. You have the picture perfect holter!!

1 PVC and 22 PACs in TWO WEEKS and you were worried? I'd be thrilled at that.

23 PACs/PVCs? Wow that's awesome! I would LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE to have only that many in 2 weeks!!! I had that many on 24 hr and it was an incredibly good day for me. I normally have at many in 5 minutes. Lol!

I really hope that you are the road to freedom from the fear of these!! Great news!!

Great news Susie! I was diagnosed today with a hiatal hernia and the pamphlet said bending over makes it worse. Well I get palpitations sometimes when I bend over and I really think it's because of my hiatal hernia. So maybe that's why if you slouch or bend u get them
