I have a couple jeans I like, but they don't all kick ass. When I was younger my genes looked much nicer in jeans.

But lemme tell you - Jodie is disciplined. She's sweet as pie and generous with her time, but don't let the bits of southern charm that still cling to her fool you - she's a tough cookie and doesn't tolerate B.S. Not even from me.

Oh, I know all about Southern Magnolias, with a heart of gold, and the ability to put the foot right in your ass if you don't measure up.

Yep, that would be me! I kind of like kicking ass now and then!
Seriously, for the record...I took Xanax for a whole entire month . .025mg a day broken in half and it did really help and I didn't feel like eating more. Funny, I think my doctor was so tired of me calling him back then that he just keeps refilling my perscription.
CVS keeps calling me telling me to come pick up the perscription. So I do...lol. I have almost a years worth of Xanax in my medicine cabinet. LMAO

dr461 agrees: You totally kick ass in the most positive way, Jodie. You articulate your opinions and back them up with facts quite well. I look forward to reading your insights!

Wow I didn't know southern women had that stereotype! Ha it's kinda true. I'm in VA so some parts are super southern! Whenever I go up north I feel super Southern though because I'm asking myself why everyone is so hurried and impolite! Sorry Northerners I just think ya'll are too fast to remember please, thank you and so forth. But Northerners are nicer to me and my family (I wear a headscarf and my hubby is Arab) than Southerners and that's probably just because there are more Muslims up North. Anyways. Love the South. Bring on the pie, lemonade and if I wasn't allergic to tea, sweet tea. Ahhh! And it's warm!

Yupp. You are in safe ground there in terms of North vs South battles. So your a Mid-Atlantic Magnolia, not a Southern one.

Ok, ok, I'm to blame for derailing this second thread of advice for Bigmoo, so I think the burden is on me to get it back on topic. Magnolias of every variety are lovely. But Bigmoo - were your questions answered?

LOL, you all are great, this thread made me smile.

I am from the south, no, actually, born in California, but raised in the south. Oh well. I am from a lot of places. LOL.

As to the controversy of certain drugs. I feel that they sure do have a place, for some, such as me, they do not help, but gosh, for some, they are truly a gift from the Lord. I say listen to your doctor and your body, work with the doctor, and do the best you can. As long as drugs are not abused, I say go for it, I just can not do them, but hey, I am in the minority.
