Alcohol

Curious - has everyone here given it up completely? If not, what and how much are you able to drink without issues?

I can easily have a glass or two of white wine (love Moscato) spritzers or one bloody mary and I am fine (no difference I mean). I won't have anything if I am having a bad day just in case tho.

Dr. was perfectly fine with it and even encouraged it LOL. But I was told to avoid RED wine....I guess it is more aggravating for some reason.

Martinis. With Bellvedere Vodka. Just one or two but doesn't seem to bother me.
Pinot Grigo doesn't bother me either.
Most of the time. Sometimes I wake up with my heart feeling like it is racing around 2am but it isn't. I'm just dehydrated so after I drink water I am fine.
I drink only on Friday and Saturday. Just one or two. Even if I'm having skips that day.

I don't drink- but do y'all think it causes skips just because it's a diuretic? Coffee and tea are too, but they are also stimulants.

I don't even drink enough variety of alcohol to remember, but I do know that there are some (most, I think) that my body is fine with, but a few that my heart gets a little goofy with. But I'm a weird drinker - I'll get onto a certain drink and drink only that for a year or so, then move onto something else completely. I've been on mostly gin and tonics for a couple years now, and those treat me just fine.

I stayed away from alcohol for over a year. Now I have a glass or two every now and then. I can tolerate wine- red or white. I make sure to drink alot of water before and after so I don't get dehydrated.

I have never drank, so, I don't know.

I have heard, that Red wine is better, I heard that it has a lot of antioxidants in it, that white wine was not as good.

I drink a beer daily. All I know is that it relaxes me.

Red wine is better considering antioxidants. However, you would have to drink a TON to reap those benefits. I was just told by my electrophysiologist that they are finding more and more that red wine irritates the hearts electrical functions more than white.
