Back to work today

I am going back to work today after 6 months on disability. Just having to be there and feel confined is making me nervous but it's only 2 days a week until the end of the year as I have to use up my vacation.

Hope you have a good day. I know yesterday my dad was bad because I was at work so I understand. Hang in there. Maybe you will be busy and not think about it!

Yes I could have got my disability continued but it would have gone to long term disability. I would have got 60% of my pay nut less any other payments so they would have deducted state disability. Also, they didn't have to hold my job after 3 months and after 6 months they would have had to get somebody else. My doctor wanted me to stay home but it really is a win win situation for me. I am only working 2 days a week and the the other days are vacation. If I can't handle that then I can go back on disability. We also have a much better long term disability policy which pays 60% and does not deduct any other payments. I actually enjoyed it. Didn't do any real work. I had 8000 e mails and they stopped in August. Just deleted most by accident and had to get all my system authorizations back. Also got handed 2 huge projects. It was actaully good to feel part of the world again.
