Blood work

Tomorrow I am getting blood work done to see if anything is "off" that can be causing my heart skips... I think I had a run of PACs again last night while driving home... SCARED the shit out of me! But I'm kinda more relaxed about them! My mom suggest I get my blood done, thyroid, ect! I am about two wks out from having the baby and I know it's still prolly hormonal, but thought getting blood done would b a good idea! My electrophysiologist or Cardiologist never did test my blood.. so thought better do it now.. would LOVE to find an easy fix, but I doubt it!

Keep in mind at if anything is off with your thyroid - it may not show. For me I was severely hyperthyroid and both of my pregnancies actually helped me and made my levels temporarily normal. So make sure to get rechecked when your not pregnant since pregnancy changes so many things.

Plus, a lot of the blood I would think they would have checked while you were pregnant, as far as those levels. The Potassium, Mag etc...

You had skips when you weren't preg right? So maybe they were just made worse while pregnant. I think my flutters were PACs too but not sure.

Wild guess would be the pregnancy--I think all the hormones during and post pregnancy has more effect on the heart rate than anything else. I bet they find bloodwork normal, but it is hard to measure estrogen level accurately, and that might be the key.
