OMG my face feels like its going to explode and my throat is on fire my glands are swollen. My stomach is a mess, my ears hurt... shall I go on? lol! I am on antibiotic (have been for 4 days and its not helping!) and taking that special antihistamine for folks with heart stuff. NOT HELPING!!!!! Vicks nose sticks, tissues, saline spray. grrrrrrrrrrr

Oh man. I feel so bad for you- yuck! Have you tried a hot shower to pop ur sinuses, or drinking super icy water then follow it with super hot water? What about a netti pot flush? They hurt but really clear out ur sinuses. My aunt who gets really bad infections said of you take peppermint oil on ur tongue and then press it to the roof of ur mouth it burns a little then pop ur sinuses open. If I have time today I'll look in my mayo clinic home remedies book for cold and sinus infection. Hope you start feeling better soon. <3

I feel so bad for you dearie, but there isn't anything more you can do. If the antibiotics haven't worked by now, I think you can safely say that it is viral. A virus goes away on its own, when it feels like it--UGGH. So, the best cure is rest, rest, rest and plenty of fluids.

Yep, if the antibiotics haven't worked, most likely viral. My daughter was super sick last weekend. I took her to the Urgent Care cause her fever was over 103 and they diagnosed it as bacterial. Her 2nd day on Amoxicillin and she felt almost 100%. So, try the nettie pot!!
