What is the difference between couplets and bigeminy? My 24 hour holter said I had 1 couplet, isn't that the same as bigeminy?

Also, what is trigeminy?

Are "Atrial Runs" the same as Paroxysmal Supra ventricular Tachycardia.

bigeminy is every other beat, trigeminy is every 2 beats, A couplet is 2 ectopics in a row then a normal beat. An atrial run would include PSVT. None are anything to worry about other than they make our lives a misery sometimes.

Agree completely. Bi=2 (beat, skip, beat, skip, Tri= beat, beat, skip, beat, beat, skip. Quad=beat, beat beat,beat,skip, etc.

A couplet is two successive skips. All of this is quite routine in a structurally healthy heart.
