I think the e cardio one was the best. I also had a seven day monitor that had no wires and was great much better than the holter monitors.

I just saw my cardiologist this past week for follow up and results of the CardioNet MCOT event monitor for 21 days.

I really did NOT care for the MCOT at all. It has 3 leads so I thought maybe it provided more or better info or something. But ... when I discussed w/him how much I disliked it and why he said he will order the eCardio for me in July when he wants to run another.

Actually, I like that eCardio more and more after the MCOT and almost look forward to wearing it again - except I'm willing to lay money down that there will be NO EVENTS the entire 21 days. I'm doing that well w/the Rythmol and Toprol. It seems like such a waste to wear it 21 days w/nothing but normal sinus rhythm.

They've just been trying out the different event monitors when a sales rep visits them and provides info until they find the event monitor and service they and their patients like best.

Its ALMOST too bad I don't at least have some somewhat frequent PACs, etc. (the mild stuff) so I could be their "guinea pig" trying out the various event monitors. It might be fun.

Yeah, right. NO, I AM NOT WISHING FOR THAT! Just my kinky mind coming up w/ridiculous ideas.
