Yes, that happens to me all the time....thats why I hardly ever exercise (excuse is better then nothing...lol). I do plan on starting to exercise again as I need to lose a few pounds. It happened the other day after washing my van. Then I get all scared again.

I've had those too, and I'm hard-pressed to give you an explanation for why they happen then. I've had them happen as I'm ramping up the exercise (called "transitional PVCs"), sometimes while I'm exercising, sometimes hours later.

Hey! I actually seem to get them during exercise which sucks (this is when I get those BIG HUGE CRAZY ONES!!) and after exercise for about 3 hrs then they subside. All the cardiologists have told me that this is normal and I shouldn't be alarmed. Its hard not to thats for sure!! I used to work out hardcore (60 min on the elyptical 4 days a week and then weights every other day) and be in great shape. Since then, I havnt gained weight, but I feel like I've lost some definition i've worked so hard to get!! so It makes me mad lol..I just joined the gym january 1st..have been going about 3-4 days a week..simply walking fast for 2 miles, and light weights high reps every other. I get those big onces STILL..but try to push thru them. on a good day, I can, but catch me on a bad skip day..and I stop right then and there and am ready to leave!! lol

My doctor has also told me not to worry about getting PVC's during or after working out. I have changed my workouts because I always fear the worst. I do just enough to get by, but I don't push myself. I work out almost every day but not hard core like I used to. That makes me sad but it just scares me too much to think about running hard and starting to feel my heart beating eratic. If I don't push myself to the edge, I usually don't get any skips while working out.

Wow, exactly the same as me. I have not trained at all for 3 months due to worry about the big thuds i used to get whilst running. I started back training a couple of days ago and nothing of note whilst training (im trying to keep it light). However hours later and into the evening usually when relaxing sat down watching TV i an getting more ectopics than i have had during the 3 months of not training! i am at a loss to explain this i can only assume that the excercise is firing up the nerve pathways that cause the problem that are not utilised when not regularly exercising and remaining sedentry.
I would love to hear from anyone else who has noticed this, or who has any ideas. Neil |

Casper664,
I understand what you feel and have had those `crazy big ones` during intense exercise hence me stopping exercise for 3 months. Exercise makes my head feel good and clear but teriffied due to the ectopics! The big ones are really scary taking away my breath for a split second. As its when im usually out of breath at the time this makes it worse so i fully understand where your coming from. I have reduced the CV work and keep the heart rate and intensity lower and stick with the weights now allowing adequate rest between sets. i know when i am starting to fatigue as the beats play up then its time for the shower.
