F2F Support Groups For Skippers??!

Was wondering if anyone knew if there were any kind of face to face support groups/meetings for skippers. I've been searching google and all I come up with are websites and forums.. which are a great help but a meeting or two might help to get together with like minded individuals and discuss our problems and solutions together. Has anyone heard of such a thing? Thanks!!

Amanda

None here in Florida either. There are anxiety groups nationally--perhaps they may share on heart anxiety as well.

I asked my electrophysiologist this same question a couple of weeks ago and he told me the only one he was aware of in Maine was one for people who have Defib Implants.

That is a shame, as all of us have the same worries that more popular support groups have. We deserve equal time Seriously, it is am issue, as when one of us is in the "heart obsessive" mode, it is hard to think clearly.
