frequent pvc's and pac's
My son is 26yrs old and ever since he was 18 years old he said he has felt single PVC's or PAC's only a couple times a day. But in the past 6 months they seem to have gotten much worse. There was a four day period where his holter recorded about 30,000 PVC's and PAC's per 24HR period. The only way he could make them go away was to lay down and they stopped. Could extreme stress and Anxiety cause these rythms? He has had complete work up with a cardiologist but I am worried that he can only find relief when lying down. The doctors have told him that his heart is in great condition and he needs to relax and they will calm down.
Any advice? I hate worrying about my kids. Even at 26...you never stop. ________ Live sex webshows Last edited by concerneddad; 09-17-2011 at 02:07 PM. |

Your son must be pretty tough. I think I'd be unconscious on the floor if I was having that many. And it's so hard to believe the doctors when they say it's all "normal". How can this be normal? This is obviously not normal! But I guess, what else can you do? Get the tests, have the doctors tell you your ok, and then you try to go on with life, I guess.

I agree. He is going to see an electrophysiologist and hopefully we can get to the bottom of this. Thanks for your response.
