Having all kind of weird beat patterns. Freaking out

Today I have been anxious because I have had PVCs all morning. Now I am having all kinds of weird beat pattern. I'm freaking out and trying so hard to get past this. Of course at work. I had a run of beat pause beat pause beat pause and weird though during pause in pulse I could feel beat in chest. Ithe my pulse would go back to normal but fast. Im sure its anxiety. I need to get out of here. Need to find a way to go home

Yes you do and you need to go home and try a Xanax, calm down, your heart is fine. The weird beats make me take a "double take" too. They catch you off guard but we all get them. You are just fine girly

Just the feeling of "needing to get out of there" will cause more PVC's. Please try the Xanax. Your doctor gave it to you so you need to trust that it will be okay.

Amen. Xanax in moderate doses as prescribed works like a charm. It just turns off the adrenaline surges. While it many not stop PVCs, it makes one much less concerned. This has worked for years, and I am not dependent or addicted as has been said elsewhere. This is simply not an issue, when used as directed.

I ended up leaving work and they haven't gone away but are slightly better. Still thumping away. I'm so tired too.

I have a book called "Hope and help for your nerves" by Dr Claire Weekes. It is awesome, I have read it so much it is coming apart. Her other book, called "Peace from Nervous Suffering" is great as well.

She calls what we are going through the "fear, adrenalin fear" cycle. The more "What ifs" and "oh my, here it is again" we add to our horrible "skips" the nore adrenlain we release, thus making them all the worse. I know it is hard to control, right now, I feel uncontrollable, LOL, but, I have to work on it. It is that fear of what will happen next that gets to most of us. It is horrible.

I hope you start to feel better now that you are home.

I feel so bad for you I wish I was close by to you just to hug you. My neighbor came over one day when mine were terrible and just hugged me and I broke down. She gets palpitations too so she knew just what I was going through. Your heart is nervous and really needs to calm down. Take an Epsom salts bath it has magnesium and will help you relax a bit. Another good way to get magnesium is through my favorite smoothie- 1 cup ice, large spoonful of almond butter, large spoonful of ground flaxseed, 2 very ripe bananas, 1 cup vanilla almond milk. It is so good and has potassium, magnesium and calcium which helps your hearts electrical system function. Hope you can find some way to relax soon- did you try your meds yet, and is your husband supportive of what's going on with you? Hugs- hugs and more hugs.

So I took the Xanax this evening. LOL It was HARD for me - so I didnt even take a full half. Like a full quarter really. But - I do feel SO much better. I wasnt really anxious when I took it - but still had a lingering feeling of crappiness from my day. But my overall feeling now is calmer. I dont feel irritable or scared. I love it!!! I need to try it now when I go crazy!! I still need to learn to manage my stress though.

I am going to look into those books Susie. I need something.....I know what I am feeling is mostly my mind. I want to beat this so bad.

Yea! I am glad you are feeling calmer. I also have those books in my drawer. I have read them over and over. They are absolutely wonderful. Go to Amazon and order them asap!!!
For me, it was best to take the xanax on a daily basis until it built up in my system. I did this for 1 month. Because it was such a low dose (1/2 of .025mg in am and afternoon), it was easy to stop after my "internal engine" calmed down. I just took 1/2 of the 025 in the am only for a week and then just stopped. It did help and i haven't taken any since. That was 3 months ago. You need this to help calm you. Once you are calmer, your stress hormones will decrease and your heart will settle.

Awesome! Soooo glad the Xanax helped you! It helped me get through some really tough times. Now I carry it with me but haven't used it in weeks. But knowing I have it in case I need it, makes me feel sooo much better
