Hi Lisa -

I'm typing this from a hotel computer right now - took the family to Six Flags.

Wow - I was getting a little worried when we hadn't heard from you in a few days, but I gsuppose - you like to do things up right. And this was no exception, it appears.

I'm very glad you made it through, and I look forward to hearing more about it as you heal up.

Jeff

Ok, made it back home.

I think I missed an important detail in your post - why do you have an ICD placed? Is this something that they may find is unnecessary at some point? Was it just an extra precaution?

I can't believe how tough you are - some people say they are still semi-conscious when they have the procedure. I'm really hoping you weren't, so you didn't have to experience the flatlining. Holy ♪♪♪♪.

Get yourself some rest, and heal yourself up. I'm hoping you got some answers about everything that went on, so you can understand what your heart's status is.

Warmest wishes,

Jeff

Here are some flowers for you, you deserve them, it sounds like you really went through a lot. I am glad it is finished and that you are doing better. The good Lord was truly with you and the techs during this procedure.
Hugs

This is truly amazing. From just a couple years ago being told your heart was normal (though it wasn't), to getting into the hospital and having a veritable construction crew in there, running new electrical, putting in some studs and drywall, and giving it all a few coats of paint.

You've got such a great attitude about all of it that if anyone is deserving of a happy ending, it's you.

Go get yourself a Burger King crown and live happily ever after.

And I want you to take all the time you need to heal, but I'm hoping I can put your experiences into a success story on this site. It'd be so inspiring to others faced with a similar situation.

I can't belive I missed this post. I have been checking daily to find out how you are doing.
What a wonderful outcome. I'm so happy for you.
I'm still confused as to what exactly they found other than the PVC's but I'm sure if I read over it a few times I'll figure it out. Thanks for sharing this Lisa. You really are a role model for me. You are always so positive. Now, go make up for that lost shopping time! I wish I could help you with that!!
Be well
Jodie

That's how everyone is. It's the job of the person doing the interview to filter that into something interesting, helpful and meaningful. And I think that there's plenty of raw material to work with here to make a really inspiring story. We'd do all the interview stuff privately, and I'd take your responses and craft it into an article, just like I did for Shelby. And really Shelby said the same thing before we started, but I found her really easy to work with. Reconsider?
