Jodie, feel better. Susie, cheer up, and focus on the lovely Christmas season, and the scenery in Washington. It is beautiful there--been there/ loved it.

Washington is beautiful and so diversified in the sceneary. My area is in the mountains, we have lots of pine trees and such, we are 70 east of Seattle. Then, you have central Washington which is drier and hot in the summer and colder in the winter. It is a neat state.

My son would LOVE to get a job in Washington. He loves the Seattle area, and would LOVE to live there.

There are a lot of neat towns around the Seattle area, and so pretty too. The docs on that side of the mountain are better as well.

Depending on what type of work your son does, there does not seem to be that big of an unemployment issue compared to the side of the mountains where I live. I am on the east slopes of the Cascades, Seattle is on the west side, the ocean and water side. :-)

He's finishing his MLS degree in Library and Information services at UNC Chapel Hill in May. He has worked as an Academic Librarian and works currently for the National Institute of Environmental Health Services in Durham NC. So, he's looking for a metadata or academic Librarian job.
