Hope and Help For Your Nerves

OMG! I know that Jodi (did I spell that wrong?? Sorry ) recommended this book in one of her posts....I ordered it and started reading it last night!!! HOLY COW it is already changing my life. At least for me, I can say that anxiety has created and feeds all of the crazy heart things I feel, in addition to other symptoms. I guess I have always known that, but to read this book is AMAZING. I think every single person on here should read it and I think many of us would be cured....at least to a point where we can function daily without being so scared.

Another realization I came to is that the PSVT I have and the afib that others have and the bigemy, trigemy etc....it all stems from PACs/PVCs and will get better and/or disappear... when the PACs/PVCs are much less frequent because we stop the "adrenaline drip" and the "adrenaline surges" that we go through on a daily basis because we a scared!!! (Sorry that's a run-on haha)

PLEASE do yourself a favor and read this book!! Thank you Jodi!!!

Jessica

I told you. I hate to say it but I told you! The book is wonderful. It is an easy read and we can all relate to it. I bought it 20 years ago and still have it in my dresser. It helped me get through my college years when I was so damn afraid to leave the house because of my heart. I was getting panic attacks in class. This book alone cured me of those panic attacks and helped me to understand why my heart was freaking out. As Susies doctor did say.....fix the brain.....lol

erbssr - I thought I replied to your request....so sorry...wasn't intentional! I'll try again.

@ Jodie - you bought that book when you were 9? You so crazy!

And Jodie recommended the book to me, too. As I think she told me in advance, all things don't apply to all people, but so much of it rang true that yeah, I was already feeling better within about an hour of starting to read it.

It still is a relevant book, 40 years after it was first written.

I have a copy floating around my house somewhere that I should send to someone.
