Wink how to stop heart palpitations

for me, this has been the past four weeks:

symptoms:
heart palpitations, chest pains, fast heart rate

doctor's office

diagnosis:
lack of exercise, anxiety, mvp

It has been a rough month... all of the distorted thinking, negative thoughts have really drained me of my energy. I just want for these heart palpitations to go away, as well as for my fast heart rate (which hasn't gotten above 130, but the slight elevation is noticeable.) and chest pains.

Does anybody have any advice?

So far, I have been told to
1) avoid stimulants, e.g. tobacco, alcohol, sugar, caffeine
2) exercise for 45 minutes daily
3) breathing into my nose (to my stomach), out of my mouth

what else is there? I have had it all tested... EKG, ECG, bloodwork, chest x-ray, Stress Test, etc.

I am currently on a beta blocker, anxiety meds, anti-depressant

you can try a magnesium suppliment, make sure to ask your doctor about your magnesium levels first, its helped acouple people here. what the doc recomended is one of the biggest things, smoking and caffein are big factors, exercise does help alot, even if its just walking alittle. listen to what the doc said. also what anxiety meds you on? anxiety is one of the biggest contributing factors to PVCs and PACs.

@Chaoticdopey,

I am taking xanax for when I have panic attacks, metoprolol for beta blocker, and imipramine to defuse the bad adrenaline in my body. I heard about the magnesium supplement, but my levels seem to be normal. Maybe I will talk to my doctor about it at my next appt!

@Christina, I am trying to just remain stress free and keep busy... when I don't think about the symptoms, they tend to go away.

Thanks!

My magnesium levels were normal as well but my cardio told me to take 500mg (gel tabs) so I started it about 4 months ago and after the 1st month noticed a difference. I still get them but only around 50 a day that I notice.

Yupp. You have had every test, and the doctors tell you that is is basically benign ectopics. You are taking medication, and the only other thing that can be done is acceptance, and therapy.
