I agree dr but many cardiologist have mentioned this correlation and many nurses too. I know if my bowel is full I get palpitations, same as when I have horrible gas or stomach issues.

Agree Katie. I think there is a possibly something there. However, there just isn't any evidence. My doctor agrees that he thinks there is a correlation with digestive spasms, but says it is unproven.

It's so interesting how so many things can switch them on I wish it was the same for a way to switch them off!

Yes definetly. But once you get used to dismissing them or start staying more positive about them it helps. But I don't get too many anyways so I shouldn't complain ever!

A big pain in the ass. LOL.

Katie, I noticed that if I am constipated, or have gas, the flutters really act up, especially in my throat, dang, I hate that feeling.
