Just how brave are we ?

Just how brave are we ?

In a word ... extremely, I honestly think the ability just to get up in a morning and face the world with these things is a small victory in and of itself. Add to that the times we force ourselves to get out and about walk and even exercise with that skip bump thump skip thump bump flutter going on is incredible ! Then the ultimate in my opinion dealing with your children, or even a baby. To just be around them without bursting into tears and thinking there going to be orphans is an amazing achievement. You see that's the hardest for me being around my children and people I love when all I can feel is skip bump thump skip, more often than not thinking I'm about to keel over.

In a nutshell these things make you whether you want to or not face your own mortality each time you feel one and with that comes the thoughts of your loved ones and how they are going to cope.

So just how brave are we whether we have little ones or not, the answer is simple ... Extremely.

That's just my waking thought for today after having a few bad days. Very 'Mushy' and none 'Manly' I know but sometimes other's don't acknowledge what we go through and sometimes we just need to hear it from people that live it!

Wishing everyone all the best and a skip and flutter free day.

Richard.

touching you are so right while I have no children, these skips sure have brought on a new view to my life...I treasure the small things, and cherish loved ones and the time I get to spend with them so much more. perhaps these were a blessing in disguise....to turn this 25 now 26 yr old party girl into a mature woman
