It works with me very well. I tend to like things non-chaotic and very organized, so CBT works well in retraining the patterns that causes our anxieties in the first place. When we can do that, the stress that we have after the fact can actually be prevented, through alternative senarios in one's mind ("you stop visualizing having a heart attack, and visualize normal adrenaline surging through the body, and can even make yourself feel it"). I find it a great tool, and my therapist works with me in coming up with less catastrophic situations for my mind to embrace. Highly recommend Cognitive Behavior Therapy.

I started the Kava yesterday, and I think it might be helping, that horrible anxious feeling was not as bad afterwards, I know I have a long ways to go, but maybe, this is my answer to my prayers, I sure hope so, at least my body is handling it so far. I will keep you posted as to how I am doing after I am on it for awhile, but, so far, so good. Praise the Lord.
