You have to stop reading... I know sometimes you do it just for reassurance but many times people who write those just do not know what they are talking about... I know it's hard to do.

DON"T read that garbage. It simply is sensationalized crap, and that is a total lie. One PVC, Thousands of PVCs= no difference in a normal heart. Why do you insist on scaring yourself constantly?

hi Christina, I did a number on myself by too much information finding activities when I first experienced PVC's, and then later learned I had other heart issues. You need to stay focused on what ONLY applies to you, and not mddy the waters. I finally broke the habit by having a frank discussion with my cardiologist, wrote "my facts" down on a piece of paper, made a firm oath to never google or bing or yahoo heart stuff again. I am an ex endurance runner (66+ years old). I went back to running (now it's jogging) and in a few months my PVC rate went from 6000-7000 per day, to less than 100, and probably many days with zero. I gave up all the common triggers . My BP is down, heart rate is down, and hopefully at my next echo, I will find my enlarged athletes heart has also decreased in size. (effect of ACE inhibitor, SSRI, and regular moderate exercise). If i can stop the chronic "reading habit", anyone can.

Remember folks, those papers are unproven medical research. They are either for somebody's MD degree, a doctorate, or general research. They're not accepted by the medical community--they are just theories that some student sets out to prove. The statistics are ALWAYS skewed to the point you want to prove--trust me, when I did my doctorate ( not in a medical field) I picked only research that supported my point of view. So, if you read that junk, you're reading somebody's biased point of view that is earning them academic brownie points. Moral of that story is don't worry about this and don't read those papers thinking that they are fact.
