I'm not sure there's a trigger number of PAC's. If PVC's are harmless, PAC's are less than harmless.

And for PVC's I think that's not a hard and fast number, but more probably a "hmm, we better at least take a cursory look before we dismiss 10 PVC's/min," and then they may still decide that meh, there's nothing to worry about.

I left the ER having PVCs when I was admitted with them for low potassium. I was having over 15 a minute and setting off alarms at times and no one even came to check on me. I was a wreck but you know what the crazy thing was I was just really uncomfortable I could feel them but felt at peace for some weird reason. If that was happening now I think I'd flip out!

So true Jeff and Katie. That is what the nurse said, that they ignore them unless you gt more then 10 a min, then they will simply do tests if you exceed that, just to make sure there is no cause. Then, they will ignore those too lol.
