A little personal. *PG13*

Had a semi good day today. Made an appointment to meet with a new cardiologist today. Ill be seeing him on the 30th. I had a rather skip free day today until about 2 hours ago. Im gonna get a little personal here but Im very worried and would like some opinions.

So I was doing a little "physical" activity with my bf and as the big O was approaching my heart started fluttering about 3 times in a row. After that I felt a very wierd sensation in my chest and Ive been irregularly beating every couple of minutes since then. Im almost tempted to go to the emergency room but Im having so much anxiety right now I cant tell if this is anxiety related or I just over stimulated my heart.

Ive tried several relaxation techniques and Im just royally freaking out. Id hate to spend the night in the ER for them to tell me im fine. I hate this!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nope. Don't freak out--that happens. You are not the only one to experience something like that....lol

Sounds like a little bit of overexertion and anxiety related stuff. I bet a few people have had similar experiences on this board.

if you want the honest truth - the physical activity actually is one of the first "clusters" I had. Afterward I had several in a row like boom boom boom and have been freaked out about "physical activities" every since. Lets say - its hasnt fared well on my marriage that was already rocky

I have noticed that sometimes, once in a blue moon I will notice more during hanky panky... But not that often. My PVCs have no schedule. I don't notice more in the morning or after I eat etc. Mine make no sense at all lol

Well, it sounds like a lot of people have the same experience, so it should answer your question, Amanda. Horizontal dancing definitely seems to influence PVCs.

Well, can you think of a time when there's more anticipation? You're already pretty juiced on anxiety and that just heightens everything.

One of the more crazy rhythms I ever had happened then too, but I had been having so much of that crap for so long that I just told myself "Fine. If this is how I'm gonna go? Can't think of a better way. Bring it."

It's great that you're using techniques to calm yourself. Are you feeling like you're gonna pass out? Have you passed out? If not, and you need some reassurance, certainly give your doctor a jingle, and explain exactly what happened. Yup, including that. Give the doctor all the relevant info, and s/he may be able to ease your mind.

@CMoore416 - That's really hard. And I know from experience that nobody can really appreciate or understand what it's like unless they've lived it, so something like that, and that, only serves to drive a bigger wedge.

@Jeff Ive had the feeling like I was going to pass out before but more duroig full blown SVT attacks versus random skips and flutters. Ive never passed out before from it though.

Thanks everyone Im relieved this is somewhat common although it doesnt make it any less uncomfortable when it happens. I survived it.. Im okay

Amanda I get the same thing before and or after. But not usually while it's intense (sorry tmi) my doctor just said interesting and that's it. It used to scare me but now I just think it's the adrenaline.

Adrenaline is the big problem for us all huh? Lol I wane up every morning feeling like I have electrical juice flowing through me and I'm all jittery. I'm guessing adrenaline when I don't want it...
