Mary - why is it better to take it at night?
Hi Jodie, Because it has a sedative effect. If that doesn't apply to you then I would think that it is fine for you to take it in the morning. I have AM and PM vitamins. The AM has the calcium the PM the magnesium for that reason. How are you doing? I am still trying to get around to calling but have so many doctors apts and if not help out my daughter in law. Am off to an apt now. Was trying to call in PM. Is it Ok to call in AM after 7:30. would love to talk again.
Mary

Yes, call me anytime. The Mag does have a calming effect and I love it. That is why I take it in the AM. I swear it is helping with the skips. I just feel calmer all around and I have nothing else to contribute it to. I hope it stays this way!!!!

What kind do you take Jodie? I have some are a waste because they do not dissolve into the body right so you have to take the correct kind....

Yes I have heard that too, but I just take Magnesium Oxide (NatureMade - 400mg gel). Of course they say that is the one that does not dissolve into the body right (oxide), but I have found after 2 months that I am calmer and my PVCs are better. Not gone, but better. I also bought Natural Calm Powder. Which is supposed to be the better Magnesium (oxide). I had planned to switch, but I'm not messing with anything at the moment cause it seems to be working. lol

JK, whatever works. I agree with you, if it is working, keep with the regimen. I started Magnesium a few days ago, and so far, no reaction. Last nasty continuous bout of PVCs two years ago, it worked within a week to help normalize them.

Magnesium makes me tired and relaxed. But you have to be careful because it can cause loose bowels and then if you get diaherrah you could get low electrolyte levels which would cause palpitations in some people. I'm not sure which ones cause loose stools but supposedly it's certain ones. I think the magnesium taurine is good. I take a magnesium 250 mg before bed sometimes double it if I have muscle cramps. I have pulled my muscles in my chest that I feel like the magnesium helps.

Epsom salt baths are a good option too.
