Don't try to analyze it too much. Hard to do I know. I will tell you that a few years back when my doctor wanted to me to increase the beta blocker dosage to see if it would calm the PVC's it made them worse.
I did try that natural calm this morning. Took 2 tsp in water. I haven't felt one PVC or flutter yet today. Not sure if it is that or they just decided to calm down but it is worth a try! Don't worry about them starting up. Your body is overreacting to the adrenaline as it hasn't had time to calm down yet. |

I am just so mad because I was feeling better PVC-wise all day. I start walking (not even running) and they start to go batty. I just keep worrying that maybe something is being missed or something. This has never happened with exercise before.

We all worry that something is being missed because there are so many symptoms associated with these damn things. But nothing was missed. Because the bottom line is...what could they have missed? Your heart is structurally fine. That doesn't change in a few months or years. And that is what the doctors are concerned about. Not when we have PVCs, how many etc. So if you were to call your doctor, he would tell you not to worry because your heart is strong and healthy.
I understand why you are mad. I feel that way many times. I used to never get them during recovery from exercise and that started last year. I even had some during recovery on my stress/echo. The doctors did not care because my heart showed no signs of disease or abnormalities. But of course, I googled recovery PVCs and guess what. Yep....worse than having them during exercise. But my doctor says absolutely not and stop reading. Just try again tonight. Get back on that treadmill and walk for 15 minutes. |

2 teaspoons
but you are small like me, so try taking 1 tsp in am and one in pm. I'm going to do that tomorrow. Because, ummmm I have gone #2 a few times today LOL I read on their FAQ site that it is better to start out doing one 1 tsp in am and 1tsp in pm. But I haven't felt one skip today. Seriously. I'm going to go have a martini and see what happens. I just ate two pieces of chocolate too. I just boiled 1 ounce of water added the 2 tsp (which will now be 1 tsp) and added another ounce of cold water to it. Drank it up. Doesn't taste bad but doesn't taste good either. |

@Cheers - when you get to the point that you're having them at all hours of the day and night (though you aren't having many from what you relayed about the Holter), it's normal for them to increase when you start to exercise a little - your already redlining adrenal glands are now being asked to put out more for physical exertion - of course you'll get more. Keep at it - with a bit of exercise, they WILL get worse before they get better. But if you keep at it, they WILL get better. I realize you may not be up to it, but you could try for overdrive suppression, where you exercise hard enough that your heart rate gets fast enough that the PVCs don't have time to happen. For me that's at around 140 bpm. It takes some nerve, or some reckless abandon, but it can be done.
