I am new here and thought I would introduce myself. I am 38, married, daughter and a step daughter. I work from home as a part time writer.

I was Dx with SVT and PACs/PVCs 8 years ago. For 10 years before that, I was told numerous times it was anxiety - all in my head. That really messed with me because now I trust no professionals.

The PACs have increased during the time before my period so I had a 30 day monitor. They found 7 beats of SVT, several PACs and one PAC couplet. I will learn more when I go in for a followup tomorrow. I will also be requesting a holter just because I feel it may be more accurate.

Welcome here. Your story is much like all of ours--ectopic beats that scare the shit out of you. I know that I have been in that place many times, and empathize completely. PVCs, and PACs are scary--even if they are completely benign. So, know that you have loads of allies here with the same issues. I have had between 10,000 and 20,000 ectopic beats a day for weeks.

As David said, you are like the rest of us, the ectopic that scare the *#@& out of us. I know even one gets to me. Talk about running your life, they are no fun.

You will like it here, everyone is so helpful, like a family, or even better at times.
