Now that I found you all, a few questions :)

Once again, so happy I found a group to talk to. I haven't had this luxery for 13 years!!

I don't want everyone to dwell on symptoms but I was wondering if I could ask a few questions:

1. When you are having some (what seem like) back to back PVCs, do you ever get a bit light headed?

2. I do get them for about a minute straight where they are beat beat thump, beat beat thump, beat beat thump. Does that happen to anyone else?

3. When I am having them non stop day after day, I have some breathing discomfort I will say. I described it before like going outside in the cold or having to clear my throat. Kind of a mild pressure where I don't feel I am getting a full breath.

4. When I work out, it actually relieves the symptoms. I sprint up and down the stairs sometimes to break a run. Does this happen to anyone. I guess it will make me burn more calories

5. After each PVC, my heart seems to beat fast for about 3 beats and then there is a noticable slow down. Perhaps my heart trying to find a rhythm again?

I have an ECG on Saturday and I am wearing a holter next Monday. Though I want them to go away, I am afraid that the wait for the holter won't catch the really bad spells I've been having.

1. Yes, sometimes for a split second. When they are frequent it can be annoying.
2. I get that for hours straight!
3. I get a feeling like someone punched me in the stomach when they are really strong. If I am talking it is noticable as I catch my breath.
4. My doctor actually told me to run up and down the stairs if they start annoying me lol
5. Probably your adrenaline over the PVC

I hope your holter picks up everything so you can get the piece of mind you need. Keep us updated.

1. Yes
2.yes
3. Take the magnesium! It helps me when I am sore from breathing. My chest gets so tight I have to take my bra off because I feel like it's a rubberband. I also get really bad sore muscles and it hurts to breath along my sternum or my center chest. I have also had horrible shoulder and neck pain. I think it's all from taking too many deep breaths as that's how I try to calm myself down. I feel like I have asthma or tight lungs when I get too many PVCs.
4. Exercise helps me but mine usually dhow up in cool down.
5 it's probably the adrenaline or your regular rhythm with extra beats in it.

1. Oh yes..this is a great trigger for a panic attack.
2. Yes, that happens frequently. and also adds to anxiety.
3. You got that exactly. This is especially true if I take my pulse ( a no no)!
4. That is common- I get mine during exercise and cool down.
5.yes, the whole deal is Adrenaline. Read about the " fight or flight response". Google it, and you will understand the entire mechanism.

1. Yes! Not sure if its the anxiety or panic or the heart
2. I have had 4 or so per minute for a bit, that I could feel
3. I have breathing discomfort if I have more then 1 back to back... that is my anxiety I am sure. But I also get a funny feeling in my throat and upper chest, almost like a tickle I can't clear. Like I need to cough.
4. My doc told me to work out too
5. I think it is a bit of panic maybe for you? I get short runs of SVT too so it maybe tied in.

1. I actually feel dizzy and lightheaded alot, during palpitations and when I am not having them, may be due to my bradycardia (low heart rate).
2. I get PACs, PVCs, Atrial Runs etc. so I get skipped beats extra beats, quivering feeling and just crazy hard beats.
3. Trouble breathing is a big one for me and the most scary. It is just like Katie say for me! I have had a really bad day. Lots of palpitations, fatigue, SOB and the chest pain just like Katie expalined. I just popped my bra off because it was trying to suffocate me! My chest is so sore right now along with my shoulder and neck and I just don't feel like I am getting enough oxygen. (sorry for venting)
4. I don't normally have palpitations if I am able to exercise and get my heart rate up. I haven't tried to exercise while having them, usually too fatigued to exercise with them.

I wore a heart monitor 3 times last year and was always concerned that I would not have episodes while wearing it, but I always did.

Hi there your symptoms sound very similar to mine. My answer is yes to all of your questions i feel eptopic beats every other beat alot i am on day 6 of straight bigemity. Its driving me crazy. Althought i find some relife by exercising but as soon as i rest bam there they go again. But i am told this is normal and very typical of PVCs.
