Most likely you will have another procedure done similar to a pap and you will be fine. I had two friends have this happen to them last year. Same exact thing. They received a letter, not even a call. Had this procedure (I can't think of the name but I can ask them) and everything was fine.
They told me their doctors said it happens quite often. Try not to worry. |

It is probably nothing. MANY things can make it abnormal. Time of the month, sex, bad test...
If HPV was negative, they will probably just want to do a re-do...there are SOOOO many abnormals which turn out to be normal...false positives. Worst case is what was already mentioned - a colposcopy which isn't much more than a pap with a camera...no pain. All will be fine and easy as pie - promise. |

I had an abnormal pap before, a few times really. First time I had to have cryosurgery, they had to freeze my cervix...and last year actually, I had to have a colposcopy...I was kind of nervous but all came back fine!
Since you're staying on top of your well woman visits, there shouldn't be a problem getting anything resolved! You'll be okay! |
