Oh how I miss you caffeine

Ok, so I know how we all miss the days of no skips....I wonder, what else do you miss. My doctor said no caffeine, chocolate or alcohol. I have to tell you.....I miss my caffeine. I used to work at Starbucks after all! My mornings with my ginger tea and my afternoons with peppermint are just not the same....

And as I sit here with 5 skips a minute at least, I think....maybe my heart is asking for a little java

Yes!! I miss caffeine very much. I don't think I have been awake for years.

I admit, I do still have chocolate and alcohol - but not a lot. Drs have always told me they won't make much of a difference if any and I never really notice any. If I have more than 2-3 drinks I will tho - so I stick to 1 or 2 at the very most and I am talking wine spritzers...so pretty light weight.

I also miss being able to take decongestants. I have horrible sinus headaches and often that was the only thing which helped. But I won't dare!!

I love coffee and found out I was allergic to it, before I was doing decaf everything. I love chocolate but found out I was allergic to that and tea as well. So in the AM I drink hot vanilla almond milk. I also love herbals like lemon verbena, chamomile, peppermint and Ginger with lemon and honey. I miss the freedom of not wondering what will or has set off my heart. I miss not being scared to do things like rollercoasters, running fast etc. But the good thing is I'm working slowly through my fears and doing them anyways. So soon all I will have to miss are things I'm allergic too nit things my mind limits me too.

My triggers are lack of sleep and stress, so I try to get enough sleep and minimize stress. I don't miss the stress.

I drink more coffee than I ever have, eat chocolate whenever I want, take whatever medications I want, drink whatever I want (though admittedly I don't drink very much, anyway) and smoke cigars sometimes. So, yeah. I can't say there's anything I miss.

Oh and I don't miss whatever health anxiety issues I used to have.

Lol I went on these go carts awhile back and my heart was flip flopping all over the place!! Nerves I guess. I got so nauseous from the go carts (speed and curvy track) though afterwards I forgot about the PVCs!

I miss decongestants too!!!! OMG do I ever. Now we just have to suck it up. I still have coffee, just decaf. And I have chocolate when I want it and I drink if I want but I am not a big drinker so 1-2 and I am finished typically.

I drink 2 large decfas from Dunkin donuts daily lol. Just different flavors. But more so because it has been a bit chilly here so it helps.

I miss just not worrying about it. Not worrying what meds I take or what I drink or eat or how much or stress etc. Not linking everything I do to my heart.

@Dani - You'll get there. I can tell already that you've made huge strides. But inside your head is like a dog's fur fresh after a bath; it's clean and it's good and it smells nice, but it's still sticking up here and there, cowlicks are all swirly and puffy, and it's all a little disheveled. Keep on with what you're doing and it'll all settle back down and look and feel normal again.
