People coming up with extreme diagnoses

Lately, it seems like a flood of people come up with non-cardiologist documented self-diagnoses of very serious heart conditions. Now, I know that most people here get either PVCs or PACs, and that is extremely annoying (I've suffered with them for years, and the anxieties that go with them). However, those who assume that they have a deadly arrhythmia or heart disease are not grasping that those are EXTREME illnesses, not with a bunch of diffuse symptoms, but with very specific serious manifestations. So, just a general statement to mose folks that you can try and relax--YOU DO NOT have the serious ailment unless a competent cardiologist has substantiated it with tests. You are stressed, obsessed, anxious, and preoccupied with PVCs or some minor rhythmic disturbance. I know this is hard to accept, but I have been there, and know the self-torture we inflice on ourselves. If one accepts the inevitable that it is a minor situation, perhaps they can work to improve the quality of their lives, through therapy, medication, prayer, and other means,

Just one man's opinion........

I agree David. A cardiologist isn't going to let you walk out of his office with begnin PVCs/PACs if you have heart disease instead. I think it's just a stage people go through believing sonething is wrong because they don't feel right- I've been there and am still searching for answers while trying to accept it at the same time. When we obsess over it instead of realizing that all our doctors combined cannot be wrong we've gone in the wrong direction.

soooo true and great post! It's just the part of not being 100%... that scares us the most. I wonder if people did not feel everyone if that would make it easier for them even knowing how many they were actually having.
