PFO closure

Well the time has finally come where I will be getting my pfo closure done on Friday. I am a little more positive then I was before, however my negative thoughts still taunt me! I just love my baby and husband so much I fear of leaving them! Please keep me in your prayers!! Thank You!

Littlemommabear, you are going to be just fine. And yes, for added measure, I'll make sure the Man upstairs knows you have a lot of things you need to stick around for. Like giving your baby a little brother or sister.

Amanda sent me a private message over the weekend to tell me that everything went great - they sent her home the same day. She said that the procedure lasted 4 hours but that she was talking through the entire thing (she doesn't remember that part ).

Thank You so much for all your support and prayers!!! It went well. Thank God! It was scary. I got worked up when they were pushing me through the double doors to the operating room-after I had to say good bye to my husband. So they gave me some valume. Lol, as Jeff said all I remember is talking the whole time non stop!!! I did see the procedure on a tv next to me but it didn't phase me I knew it was me and I knew what was going on I just didn't care! I only stopped talking but to take a breath and continue again. That's all I remember is just going on and on and on. Wonder what I was saying!?!? Finally I felt really tired. I felt myself drifting off and I kept on telling myself you can't fall asleep you have to talk! After I nodded out 3 times and woke myself back up to talk some more I finally gave myself permission to just sleep. LOL I was so tired! Turns out my surgeon went out to tell my husband and mother that the procedure went good and told my husband: "Boy she's quite the talker! I had to give her more medicine to shut her up!!" That was that.. And yes I did come home the same day! Pretty amazing huh. Thank You so much for all your encouragement! -Amanda
