Propranolol and Side Effects

I am on 30 mg of propranolol per day for PVCs and a racing heart. Can anyone tell me what side effects that they have had on this beta blocker? I feel very tired, cold, shaky at times and have stomach upset (BAD GAS). My cardio won't change my med until my next appt. Thank you.

Sounds like classic side effects for a beta blocker. Maybe you should cut the dose in half and take it in the am and the pm instead of all at once and see if the side effects diminish. I had to do that with the Atenolol.

Agree with Jodi--classic side effects of betas. One does get used to them, or perhaps the dosage needs to be cut.

Jodie is ride, I have heard betablockers can really make you feel tired, lethargic even. I have seen my father get very tired and weak while taking them.
