Yep! Sounds like PVC's to me... Thats exactly how I feel em...It's a scary sensation fer sure. Mine are def worse around my time of the month too. I've discovered that the PAC's feel like more of a "ping" if that makes sense? And the PVC's feel more like a "thud" or a "flip flop". Im 2 years in the hole with these things and slowly learning how to deal with them. This is a great forum to express your concerns and fears and look for advice. It has helped me alot already in the short time I've been on.
Welcome!

I experienced something really scary this evening. I got several PVCs in a row. I instantly jumped up and started coughing as hard as I could, then I got all shaky. I have never had then back to back like that. I didn't get dizzy or feel faint or anything, but OMG it freaked me out...

Try to relax. I get those almost every night when I am in bed relaxing. I feel a surge of hard beats. sometimes 4 or 5. It doesn't mean it is PVC's. It could be PAT. That is what mine is. Totally benign.

I also used to jump up and get scared. Your adrenaline is what made you shaky.
Try not to worry

I try to relax, but it is just so upsetting. It is very strange but I dont feel these PVC's are hard or excessively hard beats...its more like a twitching or something...its strange, but I feel it in the base of my throat like down by my esophagus, its like a funny little feeling...and its almost always when I am exhaling.....I do hate them, and I can not IMAGINE experiencing them all day in the 100's when I have more than a handful of them I start thinking about going to the ER! I love this forum but I cant help but feel that I am having something different from everyone else! It sounds like it is the same thing!

It is not unusual to think you are having something different. That is in the back of my mind all the time. I know from monitors what some of these things are but still get different variations which I have not had before. Can't quite believe that they are benign and can't convince myself that there is not some underlying cause the the doctors/tests have overlooked.

When I get the PAT's (which have never been detected by a monitor....go figure) I get an unusual feeling in my throat aswell. I don't feel those in my chest area at all... I get the adrenaline rush thingy after too but the super fast beats I always feel in my throat then when I check my pulse it's goin a hundred miles an hour.Usually only lasts a few seconds and i cough or hold my breath and bare down to get rid of it...I hate those one the most. They absolutely freak me out the most....

My PAT runs have lasted up to 60 minutes at 220 beats per minute. It is so scary. That is how I caught them. I was actually dating a doctor and he took me to the ER.
My pats start out with really light fluttering and then a long pause (like it is switching gears) and it then just takes off. I hate them too. You can't just slow your heart down by breathing or lying down. It is stuck in that rythym until it decides to stop....
Fortunately it only seems to happen once a year or so. And, usually it is over within minutes. That one that lasted an hour was triggered from msg I think. Stay away from too much msg.....

I can't tell the difference between a PVC or PAC, but PAT is a form of tachycardia that begins and ends abruptly and is very fast (mine is over 220 beats per minute) so it is easy to tell the difference between PVC's or PAC's and PAT.
