Sick PVCs ~ More frequent

So I was diagnosed with PVCs 6 months ago, they were few and far between, maybe a couple a day... The doc just recommended that I stay off caffeine and watch my stimulant intake.
Over the past few months I have noticed them a little more frequently, some days 20 a day others 10 etc... But today, Wow, I must of had 50 so far today. Is this a sign of things to come? Should I be scared? My EC told me he doesn't care how many I have as long as I do not have runs of them (VT), or get faint, dizzy, lightheaded when I have them (which I do not). And maybe 50 so far today is not a lot but for me its really scary. Does this mean I should go on a Beta Blocker or just see where it goes? My Dr. said my heart is healthy, just the PVCs..... :s

I think a lot of us here have way more than that XD And they're very annoying and distressing, but as long as your heart is healthy they're not going to harm you, no matter how many you have. Beta blockers don't really help with them much tbh, I still feel every one! Just try and be reassured by what the doctor says

I know, once you feel them you can't stop :/ But as long as you feel OK otherwise I'm sure you'll be OK

as long as your heart is healthy iv'e always been told that they are nothing to worry about. I just wonder why your dr gets worried about runs of them because i get that all the time ha but it does not last longer then 30 seconds which is the cut off of NSVT before it becomes VT

Its runs that last over 30 seconds that he was talking about.... And they truly just scare the crud out of me, I hate these things. They are so damn scary. I was told to trust my heart, and I try but when it acts goofy lol.

Every time I've mentioned getting runs of PVCs to a doctor, they've not said a word! I tried to explain I was worried about NSVT to my doctor yesterday and he basically blanked me, he kept asking me "What do you understand by that?" and I felt so silly, lol. He flat out said nothing bad was going to happen to me. That's what I wanted to hear so I didn't question it, lol, but of course as soon as I came home I was like "But how can you be sure...?" XD It's so hard to trust anything, you always worry something's been missed!

So true! You really do worry that they forgot something or that we are one of the very unlucky ones who have a very rare type lol. So glad your doctors appointment went well!!!!

I guess that is a good thing... Because we all know these docs won't play around, too much chance for lawsuits etc.... so I guess it's good that they brush us off but OMG I just wish they would understand a bit more of how scary it can be. My PCP has mvp and gets PVCs sometimes and so she said she doesn't even feel that PVCs should be called an arrhythmia... That they aren't dangerous pffft!
