Most people who go into Vfib have some serious heart defect, or a major MI. It doesn't happen spontaneously in people with normal hearts. You are at no greater risk than anyone in the general population to get Vfib or Vtach.

That has always been my fear, that when the "skips" or runs start, they will turn into something fatal, if I could stop my worry about that, I do not think I would be so scared.

That is good to know David about them being in hearts that have had an MI or defect.
