I don't think so no.... My HR is always high though, maybe 75 when laying down and 90 when up.

yes but it is very common after having a baby for your heart to slow down under 60. Mine was around 50 for a month and I swear I thought I was going to die! My doctor told me it was a vagal response to loosing all that baby weight and having the baby. The vagus nerve was irritated. As long as your pulse goes up with activity you have nothing to worry about.

yes, if you are having PVCs. The slower the heartrate, the longer the pause will be. Or just normal sinus rhythym can feel like pauses when your heart is beating slower. I remember thinking, well I would rather have it beating fast than worry about how slow it feels. Please don't worry. It is just from having the baby.

55-60 is an athlete's resting pulse. My doctor said if most athletes got cardiograms regularly, the EKGs would look horrible--the slow rate is developed in their case, but totally normal. They have PVCs all the time, according to him. Normal resting range is 60-90.

It is from being in good shape. My athletic days,my resting pulse was 60ish. Now, with knee problems and somewhat less exercise it is more like 80.
