You know, as everyone is writing about how their hearts tend to act up AFTER a stressful, active day, I'm building a sort of informal theory:

During the day, the adrenaline is pumping, allowing you to work hard and get things done. But when the day is over, your adrenal glands might still firing, pushing more excitement into your heart muscle than it needs, causing the skips.

Maybe I should look into the functions of the adrenal gland a bit more...

Yes Drs have talked about my adrenals and one test did come back that I was in adrenal fatigue. I need to go to her again and be retested I guess.

When I first started with tachycardia, one of the tests I had was an MRI of my adrenal gland. It was fine, but that is something that could cause this craziness.

so im not sure if anyone knows, but when im doing house work...i seem to get the skips during....so much that after some time I just gotta take a break to try and settle them down...why do they get worse during...same question for when im excercising...why do they get worse sometimes? I had heard a while before that exercise enduced PVCs are of more concern..is that really the case?

There are some heart clinics that say during is more concerning, but the only really extensive study was of roughly 2,900 people with an average age of 56, and they studied PVC quantities before, during, after exercise and all three together. What they found was if a person had 7 or more PVCs per minute AFTER EXERCISE ONLY, during the cooldown stage, there was an increased incidence of mortality. But not a huge one.

It's kind of hard to extrapolate that to a young, fit woman, but in general, 7 or more PVCs coming only during cooldown is the thing that that study indicates is a concern.

Hope that helps.

As for why it happens while cleaning? Who knows - maybe lots of bending over. Maybe lots of frenetic activity. Hard to say.

Not a problem, Casper. I'm not always around here, and was absent for awhile there, but when I'm here I do what I can. If it helps, that's all that matters.

Thanks for the kind words.
