Some basic CBT books from Amazon's list

I posted Amazon's booklist of Cognitive Behavior Therapy, as they have a good collection. These books are generally available all over--this makes it easy for me to recommend a few specific ones. #1 Making CBT work is a must read. It shows beginners how to use it when not directly supervised. #2--also good for laypersons working with a clinician or by themselves. #3 A bit more theoretical, but also good. #4 Typical "for dummies" book, but interesting and humorous--has some value. #5, 6,7 are all excellent. These are both technical, and practical. Must read for someone serious in CBT. #9 "taking control"--also very good read, and lots of good information.

This should give folks a running start. Click on Amazon's list below. This is not a commercial for them, but the list is very well organized and I agree with a lot of their top choices.
