Ive been lurking this forum for 10 months or so. Want to say thanks to those that post and keep it going.
My quick story: 48 yr old male. I exercised to extreme levels over the past 5 years only in between
POTS of coffee in the mornings and significant booze at night. My professional life is made up of many hours and stress. Oh, and I chewed tobacco since age 14. All of this resulted in
A-fib coming on hard and strong with an
ablation performed this summer.
I of course quit caffeine, nicotine, and tobacco. I just now have gained confidence to lightly exercise a couple times per week. Since the
ablation I have experienced bouts of every arrythmia that has an acronym. For the past month it has all been just
PAC. It is because of all of you that tell your stories that I have stayed sane through this. Giving up my chemical habits and my mental escape of exercise was pretty light compared to the anxiety of arrythmia. Lurking here has been Educational and comforting.
I have no plans to frequently post. Just wanted to say thanks to all of you that do post and help many other lurkers like myself through some scarey new ordeals.
