Excl Unexplained?

So I've had this "chest pain" for months off and on. It always seems to act up worse when I am in anxiety mode. But it is always on my left side... started above my left breast, very site specific. My electrophysiologist and cardio said it is not heart related..... My primary care had blood work, CT Scan of my chest with dye, sonagram of all my "upper" stuff, gallbladder, etc., MRI of my neck, xray of my back.... And all come up empty handed except for slight disc protrusion in my neck. So, she said that along with the anxiety could cause the pain in my chest. Since then the pain is more under my left breast, to the left. The area is not sore to the touch or seem more sensitive but I will get these stabbing pains, that are right in the area or sometimes shoot up.
My doc thinks they maybe psychosomatic., along with the disc in my neck. But everyone I feel it, I get a panic attack and think it's my heart. Ever since I got diagnosed with PVCs it has gotten worse. I have no other symptoms just this, and I get full blown anxious. Anyone else can relate or have any ideas?

I have very similar and in the same locations. It can go for months and the suddenly come back. Very scary, I always get panic when it happens. Have all the same tests. They just found slight arthritis in my neck. I also have left shoulder rotator cuff bursitis. Don't think any of these are related so can relate but don't have an answer.

Thanks so much for answering. The doc showed me how the nerves from the neck and back branch around to the front of our chests, hence the chest pains... Which can seem rational enough but maybe with us "heart" people, its harder to just accept it as that, and we always tend to take it back to our hearts?

Same here. I have seen those diagrams. In fact last week I was shown how rotator cuff problems in the shoulder cause problems in the chest and arm but of course I find it hard to believe.

I do think though that if we did not have funky beats, we would just take it for what it is and move on....

Yes, agreed. All comes back to those funky beats and the anxiety they cause.

I have some heriniated discs in my upper back and neck, and man, they sure can cause chest pain, or, as the doctor calls it, intercostal pain. It is scary for sure.

Funky beats, good name for them, I know my anxiety would be close to nil if I did not notice mine.

lol Funky beats makes me feel a bit better lol.... One time my docs assistant told me that it's just normal to be abnormal. Makes sense but still hard to accept. Those chest pains when they come are so scary. Even though I know what they are from, they still stink! lol

"Normal to be abnormal" LOL, well, I must really be normal then.

For sure, even when you know the source of the pain, it is still scary.
