Want my old life (and heart) back!

Feeling sorry for myself this morning so excuse the pity party! So tired of feeling like crap, worrying every minute of the day, afraid to do anything. You suck PVCs and I hate you!

On a different note - I picked up Xanax and they told mr to take it before bed. Arent you supposed to take it as needed? Any help would be appreciated

Sorry you are not feeling good. As for the Xanax yes you can take it if you feel anxious or if you are getting PVCs and feel panic. I would suggest the first time you take it maybe take a half of the pill and be sure to take it when you are home with somebody around. Everybody reacts differently so get to know how you react.

I really am having a tough time. Nothing in my mgr has been this hard. I can't seem to get past that I'm ok. Everything seems to trigger them it seems and if it's stress I don't know how to stop Stressing. I hate every single day. I sometimes think I can't go on like this. I feel so alone. I feel like everyone is having fun around me and I'm stuck in this dark hole. I don't know why I feel this way

So sorry you feel this way. I know it doesn't help but I know exactly how you feel. do you have a therapist? If so you may want to give her a call. I will private message you my phone number. You are welcome to call for a chat. if you really feel out of control go to the ER. Do not suffer alone.

I agree with Mairegra, it's not healthy to feel the way your feeling. I went through a bout of them just like you and was a wreck. I started walking around my neighborhood daily and it really helped release the adrenaline. I also started trying to take supplements that lowered my inflammation, since in my case nothing was wrong with me except gastrointestinal issues caused by allergies and low vitamin d. All of that was causing inflammation. I'm taking higher doses of vitamin d3 (which really helps with depression too- I'm on 4-6,000 daily but you'd need to get your serum levels checked before starting that high of a dose. I take spirulina, asxanthian, chlorella, trace minerals, and omega 3's. It has made a difference for me. I've also heard of people taking aloe Vera gel to initially knock out the palpitations and then go on a lower dose. I can look through my old emails and see what I can find for the proper dosage. There is also an old board you can visit by googling irishhealth.com and heart palpitations. If you read through those posts you'll find information from other sufferers with different things that may be worth a try for you.

I meant to add though that if it is all too much for you then you should seek medical attention promptly because it shouldn't make you feel like life isn't worth living. Palpitations brought me down in the beginning and sometimes now but I redirect my fears into positive and tell myself that they are signs that I need to take better care of myself and stress level. Hope u get well soon and stay hopeful. Play the game, don't forfeit!

Hang in there all of this will pass! You are not alone and you will have fun again. Careful with the Xanax one of the side effects is sleepyness. Take the first one when you can rest and learn how the drug works on you. Definitely go to the doctor if you feel things are bad! Feel better!

How did your doctor direct you to take it? Follow his/her instructions, and keep to the recommended dosage, and schedule--follow the MDs recommendation to a "T," and there should be no issues.

I am so sorry you are having such a rough time. Try the Xanax. Mary has a good point. I also broke mine in half at first. My doctor also said before bed, but i took it in the morning because that is when I was most anxious.

Can't go wrong with that advice. Drug therapy done responsibly, with a doctor's supervision works well.
