Well...I finally did it!

Well Jeff and Jodie....
I FINALLY worked out...I went to see my physical therapist...and she seems to think that building my core will help with taking care of my patients...
I did wall push ups..leg presses...did more leg work outs and different kinds of ab work! Well during the middle of my wall push ups..I was out of breath and my heart paused...I kept on going...started doing something else and my heart did it again AFTER taking in ANOTHER deep breath...I'm very much out of breath by this time, my heart feels like it's beating out of my chest...I finally finish and I'm exhausted....as I'm walking out the door I take a deep breath and my heart pauses again...it has kept doing this until almost an hr ago!!
I'm wondering if this was all worth it?! I'm scheduled to go back again on Wednesday...I'm so scared and nervous! I'm not sure if I want to go back or not...
Jeff and Jodie...how can this okay??? I'm scared!!
P.S
I haven't emailed Jodie yet ,working has exhausted me but I have screwed up a couple of times...I'll write her shortly...I just don't want to burn her out w/ my letters....didn't know whether to post this on the other site(exercise)

That's awesome that you exercised, Julie! I can sympathize with being scared chitless, pushing your heart. If this keeps happening on inhale, I keep thinking vagus, vagus, vagus. In fact, lemme put some money down at vegas, vegas, vegas that this is the cause for the pause.

Kudos on the progress. Keep it up.

yep, I totally agree. Vagus. Congrats on working out. It will get better. I remember I always felt better if I told my trainers about my heart. Just doing that helped me with the anxiety about the workout.

Another thing I noticed...I feel so short of air...like I can't catch my breath and my stupid heart is pounding like crazy...then when I start taking deep breaths and NOT having the pausing...lol...I start to feel dizzy!!
Oh yeah Jodie...I worked out tonight on my own! I worked out w/ "Gilad?"....lol...didn't do everything but I did most of it..I just kept on moving...even though I was scared!

awesome Julie. Hopefullly after your anxiety settles down about what your heart might do when you work out, your heart will settle a little to. I don't think I will ever reach the point that I can do cardio without someone. I can do my weight workout on my own. I only worry about doing cardio alone and starting to get the crazy beats. The pausing sucks Julie. It does. They have never caught that on my holter either. It feels much different than the PVC's. My heart just feels like it stops for seconds, then it beats eratically for a few minutes. Taking deep breaths can make you feel dizzy. When I do that for my doctor, I always get dizzy. How did you do today with your diet? E-mail me when you get the chance. Jodie

Hey, I get dizzy, too. Sometimes I think the deep breathing is not about listening to the sound, but seeing if you'll pass out. Because I swear sometimes if they asked me stand up right after that fourth set of deep breaths?
