Wish I knew why mornings are so bad

Ibreally wish I knew why every mOrning is bad for me. I get PVCs every Morning a minute or so after I get out of bed. It then sets in anxiety and panic. Then it seems like my day is already of to an anxious and rocky start! Is it me Worried about them coming since of course I think about them every morning? Adrenaline? Need to eat? Allnf the above?

It's horrible! Want to start my days positive

Christina, it is usually the changeover from rest to activity mode. The body knows that you are no longer in bed, and need energy, so the chemicals get dumped by your adrenal glands into your blood stream. That period of time seems to be the most vulnerable in terms of ectopics for a lot of people, as the body is changing over from asleep to awake mode. I get that a lot.

Yeah I do feel like jittery inside. It just doesn't make for a great start to your day. Especially when you wake up determine to make it a great day and then they start! Ugh!

Bad this morning though with bigenemy clusters. Trying hard not to go to Urgent Care. I know it will be a waste but needing reassurance.

Yep, I've been there. It's like as soon as you're awake enough to notice your heart is when you start having them.

One of the things that made that worse for me? The baby monitor. You have young kids, right? I remember so many times hearing some sort of noise come from the monitor that would wake me from a peaceful sleep and send me running across the house to make sure the baby (and later, the second baby) was ok. After awhile I think my body trained itself to be in instant panic mode when I awoke.

Just a thought for you to noodle over as you go for a walk or something and NOT go to urgent care.

I think maybe it is due to the fact that you are apprehensive and you do not even realize it, therefore, it starts that ole adrenalin cycle; I am not a morning person at all, so, I feel my worse then, I am best at night.

I used to have the same thing I really believe it was from not eating well. Now I have a huge veggie breakfast and turkey bacon and almond milk heated up. Try to remove almost all the sugar from ur diet. You may have hypoglycemia. Do u usually feel better about 30 minutes after eating?

Yes it does get better after I eat. Not always but a lot Of the time. Other times no rhyme or reason. I do notice it a lot though around meal times

Have you journaled yet? Journal the times of eating and times of palps or lack there of. For me I found out that if I went longer than 2 hours I would get shaky and my heart would feel sorta fluttery sometimes I'd get palpitations with it. But if I ate every two hours- I did really well. I think it took my body awhile to get off sugar and caffeine and all the foods I was allergic too but now i can go four hours and feel ok. I snack ALOT on seeds and nuts and fresh fruits, then I have lots of veggies for dinner. My blood sugar stays pretty stable now unless I sick down my smoothie! I get the shakes in the AM around 4-5AM so sometimes I eat a protein bar and go back to sleep. It could be blood sugar related if you get the shakes, your hands start feeling tingly and you feel dizzy- sometimes my heart runs a bit fast but nothing that terrifies me- if it's that bad you need to eat something quick like a couple dates or spoonful of honey on whole grain toast.

I do think it has to do with your stomach being empty for hours while you are in bed. Notice I said in bed & not "asleep" since some of us, I know, are in bed all night but not sleeping all night.
Also, it's just a fact that blood pressure is highest when you wake up in the morning. So, like David said, you are changing to the "awake" mode.
