Wearing this event monitor is seriously getting OLD! If I wasn't paranoid before I am now...Strange how the paranoia over every little skip or twinge can sneak up on you...I am at war with myself over that!
I have every confidence that there is probably NOTHING wrong with my heart...and that this all has to do with my uncontrolled high blood pressure...
However.... I will be much more confident if they give me a stress test in the end to know for sure. I want this to be so DONE!
Meanwhile I will try not to pitch this King of Hearts monitor out the window!

It's the weirdest feeling, I know. At about week 2 I was practically begging them to take the thing back. "Just keep it on for a little while longer."
And then the day came to turn it in and I was a mess. Who's gonna look at my heart if I don't have that thing on? Who's gonna know if I'm having a dangerous arrhythmia?

Oh great! I'm getting the KOH this Friday and will have it for a month. Any hints, tips, or tricks would be greatly appreciated!

I'm wearing one now, got it on Thursday, I've had 3 cardiologist tell me that I'm fine...but they have never seen any of the scary beats...they've never been caught! I recorded something the other night, called it in and she did say she seen an irregular rhythm but it was okay because it only lasted 4 seconds...if it had lasted the whole 2 minutes...she would've called my doctor!!! Now it's Sunday and now I feel paralyzed so to speak...what was it?? What could've turned bad?? The strange thing is...this rhythm didn't feel like it had a "rhythm"...I guess what I'm trying to say is...appreciate it while you got the chance, once you take it off, you may wish you still had it...
Yeah it's a pain in the butt...I hate it because I hate how it's not very concealable...and the stickers itch like heck!!! But I focus on the final outcome...maybe they'll see once and for all what I've been talking about...
