In tears today.
Overwhelmed and Distraught.

After a rough start to my day I decided to start it over and forget about this morning. I went and picked up my niece and since we had a little bit of snow decided to climb the sledding hill (see how my heart does getting it pumping up there since ablation) well it was racing fairly quickly. Got to the top of the hill and I bent over to take a pic with my niece at the top of the hill and skip skip skip followed by a flutter. Then the...

Anxiety.. my worst enemy
Consumes me day and night.

I was diagnosed with panic disorder right after my SVT started getting bad. The doctor put me on paxil which didnt help at all and left me with terrible withdrawl after the script was up. Everything I do and anywhere I go I'm absolutely overwhelmed with anxiety. I want to feel "normal". I'm 22 years old and I feel I'm to young to deal with this shit. It's constant. I chose to ignore the weird beat based on the fact that my grandfather had weird beats - he also had multiple heart attacks and died at the age of 90 of natural causes. What I have learned is that most of the weird beats were PVCs, that I thought my heart had stopped, so coughing would kick it back into gear. Most times, the coughs...

Muscle spasms and Metoprolol

Posted 11-24-2011 at 09:29 AM by Miss Elizabeth

Has anyone taking Metoprolol experienced muscle spasms? I have been taking the drug for about a year now and about a month ago I started having mild muscle spasms that last for five or more minutes. They are not painful just annoying.

Hope everyone's Thanksgiving is full of friends, family, and serenity.
