Skipping Hearts - Journal Entries

I've been less aware of the skips recently - that's not to say they haven't been happening because they have, but they feel to have been less bothersome. But the past few days I've noticed more again, and although they don't feel quite as strong as they used to, they really make my breath catch, it's really an unpleasant sensation. I feel like I don't really know what's going on because they're not as strong, I can't tell if I'm having runs or what. I haven't felt any dizziness but they feel lower...

Holter Monitor Results Back

Well...got my holter monitor results back. Having 3000 PVC's per day, and one PAC. The most I had in a minute is 36 and the most in an hour was 103. The majority happened in the morning upon waking up....interesting. Had episodes of Ventricular Trigeminy. My PCP said he could put me on 80mg of Iuderolla or I can see a Cardiologist. I opted for the Cardiologist. Noone can tell me if this is a bad finding or not, Dr. says "you've had them for a while...all I can say is if they get worse,...

Ablation date!

They called from the hospital today and gave me a date for my ablation - in less than a month! I was expecting to wait at least a few more months so I'm very pleased and excited! But at the same time I know I'll get nervous before the procedure - and also there's the worry that it won't cure me totally, because my ectopics might be unrelated. :| But I hope it can at least help me feel more normal!

Sleeping

It seems to go in waives how much the heart thing bothers me along with the "heart pains" sometimes it's fine, others is freaky. Slept horrible 2 nights ago, a bit better last night but still up every 2 hours or so. Think I need a vacation :p

They have been quiet lately (knock on wood), with only 10 or so a day... Who knows how long that will last, but I hope it does for a very long time. Still hate them but trying not to allow them to live my life for me. I know they won't hurt me and I can't change what my future holds. If I will end up with something worse, who knows. I pray I do not, that this will just be a nuisance that will just become normal to me.

Glad to have so many to share this with, makes me feel better...
